Mobile Internet Configuration Settings For Airtel NE
When you want to set up your mobile phone to start browsing the internet with your Airtel line in Niger Republic, here is how to do it.
Airtel Niger offer you the opportunity to access the mobile internet wherever you are with the GPRS/EDGE technology, to check emails, chat on social networks, browse and find the information you need, simple and easy from the comfort of your mobile handset.
There are two ways to cofigure your phone to start using the internet with Airtel:
- Automatic Configuration (OTA).
- Manual Cofiguration
The Automatic Configuration
The automatic configuration also known as "Over The Air" (OTA) is the easiest way to get the internet configuration settings automatically on your phone. Simply go to the SMS section of your phone and type the letter S as a new massage and then send it to 1010. Then if your phone support the automatic configuration, you will receive the internet settings. Then make sure you Save them. When a PIN is requested, enter 0000.
Note: Majority of phones do support the OTA cofiguration while some does'nt. So you just have to try it if you are doubting weather your phone is supported or not.
If your phone does not support the automatic configuration, then you have to do the configuration settings manually in your phone settings section. You can either do it yourself by filling the required fields for the settings given below, or you can visit a nearest Airtel office to get help.
The Manual Configuration Settings
- APN Name: airtel Ne
- APN: internet
- Username: leave blank
- Password: leave blank
