How To Apply a New CSS Theme To Your MyWapBlog Mobile Blog

Whenever you find a new CSS theme for MyWapBlog that you want to apply to your blog, either from this blog or any other sites that are providing free CSS themes for Mywapblog, this is how to apply the theme to your Mywapblog mobile blog.

Step 1 - Copy the theme import-code: The import code is the code that links up your blog to the source of the theme. Theme authors usually provide this code in a text box within the page they publish almost every free CSS theme. The import code looks like this:

@import url("http://example.com/theme_name/theme.css");

All you have to do is to copy the code from where the theme author provides it for free and proceed to the next step. Make sure you copy the code as it is. Don't change or delete any character including the '@', the quotation marks and the colon (';'). Also take note, the import code must not contain any space within the characters except between the '@import' and the 'url'.

Step 2 - Log in to your MyWapBlog Dashboard: Select 'Themes' from the 'Appearance' section of your dashboard.

Step 3 - Select a theme template: Select the 'Default' theme from the list of themes, if the theme you want to apply is designed based on the Default template. Most of the free themes you'll find are designed upon the Default theme or Default theme 2 template. Incase the theme you want to apply is not Default based, then you have to choose the appropriate one for the theme to be completely applied on your mobile blog. You should contact the theme author if you're not sure which template to select for the theme.

Step 4 - Clear the stylesheet text box: Click the 'Start editing this theme with a blank CSS' link which is below the text box.

Step 5 - Save: Click the 'save' button to save your new theme (or click the 'preview' button first).

That's all..!!
